Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was as a captain and a participant of the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In 2012 the team, she won gold medals in team competitions along with the floor exercises. For the balance beam, Raisman received the bronze medal. In 2012, she became the first American athlete to earn the most number of medals at the Olympics. She and her teammate Gabby Doug were the first Americans to win back-to-back gold medals at team events. She also won silver medals for the all-around individual event and in the floor workout. Following the 2nd Olympics, she took three years off from gymnastics. Additionally, she was one of the gold medal winning American teams at the two World Championships. Her first experience with gymnastics began at age of two and her most loved activity is Floor Exercise. Aly supports her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. She would like to become fashion-forward and increase the line of leotards and socks in the very near future. Fierce A novel, which she is writing will come coming out in the year ahead.
